Ten people with Princeton High School ties were named to the Ohio Sports Hall of Fame as part of its 2026 class, Princeton City Schools announced Tuesday, Oct. 20.

Seven of the honorees are former Vikings track and field athletes: Vicki Albright Travis, Renee Allen Carter, Candace Campbell, Shannon George, Tyrone Olverson, Allyson Rogers Khayo and Tanya Upthegrove Coleman. The honorees include four former collegiate runners. Olverson, George and Rogers Khayo ran at Ohio State, and Upthegrove Coleman ran at the University of Nebraska, according to Yahoo Sports.

Ken Meibers, who coached track and field and cross country at Princeton and Colerain, rounds out the track contingent.

Former Princeton baseball standout Vince Harrison Jr. is also among the inductees. Harrison played at the University of Kentucky and went on to coach in the minor leagues, Yahoo Sports reported.

Then there is Tracy "Spidey" Hall. Hall earned his spot for his contributions as Princeton's longtime equipment manager. The district said the recognition celebrates the lasting impact of Princeton's athletes, coaches and support staff.

The Ohio Sports Hall of Fame was established in 2024 to honor athletes, coaches, officials and media figures across the state. The 2026 class is the organization's second group of inductees, and it includes scores of athletes and coaches with Greater Cincinnati ties, Yahoo Sports reported.

The second annual induction banquet is scheduled at the Dayton Convention Center, though sources disagree on the exact date. The Ohio Sports Hall of Fame website lists Oct. 17, which has already passed. Yahoo Sports reported the event for Oct. 27, with dinner and a group photo at 5 p.m. and the ceremony running from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are available on the Hall of Fame's website.
