Princeton's boys and girls soccer programs both absorbed shutout losses to Greater Miami Conference rival Mason on Aug. 25, as both Viking squads remain winless to start the fall season.

The boys fell 5-0 at home. The girls dropped an 8-0 decision on the road at Mason. The Dayton Daily News prep roundup did not include individual scoring details for either game.

The Vikings hosted the Comets in a conference match but could not find the back of the net. The loss is the third straight to open the season for Princeton's boys, who fell to Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy 4-0 on Aug. 14 and to Northmont 1-0 on Aug. 22, according to MaxPreps.

Princeton's boys travel to Seven Hills on Aug. 29 at 7 p.m.

Girls soccer: Mason 8, Princeton 0

Eight goals. That's what Mason put past Princeton in the conference matchup at Mason. The girls also lost to Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy 10-0 on Aug. 14, per MaxPreps.

The girls get a quick turnaround, visiting Milford on Aug. 27 at 7:15 p.m.

Stadium context

Both programs are navigating the fall without their home stadium. Princeton City Schools announced Aug. 11 that alternate sites were being secured for soccer while the renovation of Jake Sweeney Automotive Stadium at Pat Mancuso Field in Sharonville continues. The stadium is scheduled to reopen Oct. 2 for the football homecoming game against Mason.

The boys' Aug. 25 match against Mason was listed as a home game for Princeton, suggesting an alternate venue was used, though the specific site was not identified in available records.

Other Tuesday results
