The 6th Annual Parkinson Shuffle, the biggest fundraiser of the year for Parkinson Community Fitness, will take over the Sharonville Convention Center on Wednesday, Oct. 14, for an evening of dinner, live entertainment and auctions benefiting people living with Parkinson's disease.
The main event runs from 6 to 9 p.m., with a VIP reception from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m. The evening includes a cocktail reception, a gourmet three-course dinner, live entertainment and auctions and raffles, according to the Sharonville Convention Center's Facebook page.
The convention center announced the event on X on Aug. 20, calling it Parkinson Community Fitness's "biggest fundraiser of the year." The fundraiser returns to the Chester Road venue, where it was also held last year.
Parkinson Community Fitness is a nonprofit based in Blue Ash that provides exercise classes, support groups and social events for people with Parkinson's and their families. Co-founded by Lisa Coors, Heather Chaney and Jakki Hunter, the organization offers symptom-specific fitness classes in strength, coordination, balance, yoga, speech and hand dexterity, all for $25 per month with unlimited access.
The classes matter.
Jan M., a PCF member, described the organization's impact in a testimonial on the group's website: "The diagnosis of Parkinson's created such a feeling of isolation. Even though my family is very supportive and understanding, there is a certain sense of 'aloneness' that I felt until I discovered Parkinson's Community Fitness."
The organization is also in the middle of a $340,000 capital campaign that had reached 63% of its goal as of August 2026, according to its website.
Ticket information will be posted at parkinsoncommunityfitness.org/events/ when available. Individual ticket prices have not yet been announced.
