Princeton Community Middle School families can bring their questions about courses, clubs and athletics directly to Principal Dr. Tyler Arnold at the school's first Parent-Family Organization meeting of the year.

The PFO gathering is set for Sept. 14 at 6:30 p.m. It marks the organization's kickoff for the 2026-27 school year, which began with a staggered start on Aug. 13.

Arnold will take questions live. The 1,332-student school's principal, who has led PCMS since at least July, will field parent questions during the session on course offerings, extracurricular clubs, athletics and what a typical day looks like for students in grades 6 through 8.

The meeting will also cover ways parents can volunteer and get involved at the school, along with an overview of what the PFO does throughout the year.

The event comes as the district leans into parent engagement under new Superintendent Dr. Mari E. Phillips. In a July 21 welcome letter, Phillips wrote that student success depends on a strong partnership between home and school, encouraging families to participate in school events and stay engaged in their child's educational journey.

The district's announcement did not specify a room or building address for the Sept. 14 meeting. Families should check the PCMS website or contact the school for location details.
