A 120-room hotel on Hauck Road in Sharonville sold for $9.95 million on July 16, and is already operating under a new name: Studio 6 Extended Stay.
The four-story, 45,000-square-foot property at 4020 Hauck Road previously operated as Extended Stay America Select Suites Cincinnati Sharonville, according to travel booking records. Hamilton County public records show the buyer is M6 Studio Cincinnati Sharonville USA LLC, a holding company of Plano, Texas-based G6 Hospitality, which owns the Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands nationwide, Local 12 reported.
The Cincinnati Business Courier, which first reported the sale on Monday, July 27, noted the $9.95 million price "far outpaced comparable properties" in the area.
Who's behind the deal
G6 Hospitality operates nearly 1,500 economy lodging locations across the United States and Canada under the Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands, according to the company's website. CEO Sonal Sinha has led an expansion push; in a September 2025 press release, Sinha said the company planned to add more than 150 new hotels to its portfolio that year.
The company itself changed hands in December 2024, when OYO's parent company, Oravel Stays, completed a $525 million acquisition of G6 Hospitality from Blackstone Real Estate.
G6 Hospitality already has a Studio 6 location in neighboring Springdale. The Sharonville purchase is its second extended-stay property in the Princeton Pike corridor.
What it means for the corridor
The sale adds another extended-stay option to a stretch of Sharonville already thick with hotels serving visitors to the Sharonville Convention Center and businesses along the I-75 corridor. Competing properties within a short drive include Sonesta ES Suites Cincinnati-Sharonville East, Delta Hotels by Marriott Cincinnati Sharonville, Comfort Inn & Suites Sharonville, and Red Roof Inn Cincinnati Sharonville, according to booking platform listings.
Extended-stay expansion is a stated priority for G6 Hospitality nationally. Ankit Tandon, the company's vice chairman, said in an April 29 press release announcing a new Studio 6 Plus brand that extended stays "are no longer just about having a place to sleep, they are about having a place to live."
The rebranded Studio 6 at 4020 Hauck Road offers kitchenettes with refrigerators and microwaves, free Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, and pet-friendly rooms, according to booking platform listings.
What's next
No renovation plans, permit filings, or future development announcements tied to the property have surfaced in public records. The seller's identity has not been disclosed in available filings.
The hotel is open and accepting guests under the Studio 6 name.
