Princeton City Schools bus drivers voted Oct. 14 to approve an agreement with First Student, ending a transportation stoppage that had left families scrambling for rides.
The district announced the vote on its school news feed, stating it was "pleased to share that union-represented bus drivers have voted to approve the agreement with First Student, Inc."
The full text of the district's statement was not available, and the specific terms of the agreement have not been publicly disclosed.
Weeks of disrupted routes
The stoppage hit families across Evendale, Woodlawn, Sharonville and Springdale hard. District transportation alerts show routes were already dropping off by late September. On Sept. 29, buses 15, 73, 63, 50, 81 and 51 did not operate afternoon routes. The next day, Sept. 30, morning routes 12, 13, 22, 25, 40, 50, 65, 66, 68 and 80 were down.
The alerts listed 15 different bus numbers across the two days.
In a message to families, the district acknowledged the toll.

Separately, Princeton Community Middle School announced that the Friday, Nov. 6 performance of Alice's Not-So-Normal Wonderland has been rescheduled to Sunday, Nov. 8, at 4 p.m. in Matthews Auditorium. The reason for the schedule change was not stated.
