Princeton puts its perfect record on the line against Lakota West with first place in the Greater Miami Conference at stake.

The No. 1-ranked Vikings (4-0) host No. 3 Lakota West (4-0) at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at Roettger Stadium in Lockland. They are the GMC's last two unbeaten teams, and the winner will hold sole possession of the conference lead.

Princeton and Lakota West have won or shared the GMC title each of the past six seasons, according to the Dayton Daily News. The Vikings have won three straight outright. They've also won the last three regular-season meetings between the programs, according to TriStateFootball.com.

Princeton's offense

Running back Jordan Hall has been the Vikings' most explosive playmaker. He has scored 11 touchdowns on just 43 offensive touches through four games, per WLWT's Week 5 preview. Hall added two rushing touchdowns in a 28-7 Week 2 win over Middletown.

Senior quarterback Monsanna Torbert, a four-star Michigan verbal commit as a defensive back, ranks fifth in the GMC in passing and sixth in rushing. Torbert transferred from Taft, where he earned Division IV first-team all-state honors in 2025.

Princeton head coach Andre Parker called Torbert "a phenomenal leader" and "heck of a competitor" in an Aug. 17 interview with WCPO, ahead of the season opener against Moeller.

Junior wide receiver Lorenzo McMullen Jr., a four-star recruit ranked the No. 1 player in Ohio in the 2028 class by the 247Sports Composite, gives Torbert a dangerous target on the outside.

Lakota West's counter

The Firebirds' offense runs through senior running back Kenyon Norman, a Northwestern commit. Norman has rushed for 800 yards and 13 touchdowns through four games, including three consecutive 200-yard performances. In Week 2 alone, he carried 13 times for 262 yards and four touchdowns against Lakota East.

Lakota West's defense has talent to match. Linebacker Judah Blair, a four-star prospect, and defensive back Roman Combs, a Purdue commit, anchor the unit. Through three weeks, the Firebirds had outscored opponents by an average of 22.6 points per game.

Defensive matchup

Princeton's defensive linemen Terrance Jones Jr. and Jon Civils have consistently pressured opposing quarterbacks this season, per WLWT. The Vikings opened the year with a 31-24 win over then-No. 1 Moeller at Paycor Stadium on Aug. 20, snapping a 19-game losing streak in the series. They rolled through GMC play, beating Colerain 49-6 in Week 3.
