Second Springdale shooting in four days

Lounge received liquor permit in February
Twenty-Two Ultra Lounge received its liquor permit transfer at a Springdale City Council meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 18. The permit, transferred to Annette Todd LLC, covers beer, wine and spirits sales on the premises until 1 a.m.
Clerk of Council Nicole Browder noted at the February meeting that the police department had no opposition to the transfer. City Administrator Brian Uhl said Police Chief Thomas Butler had met with the permit holder and ‘expressed his desires for security.’ Council raised no objection to the transfer, allowing the city to forward it to the state.
The shooting occurred just minutes before the venue's 1 a.m. liquor cutoff.
