Drivers in Sharonville and Springdale heading west on I-275 face a weekend of major lane closures starting July 24.

The Ohio Department of Transportation will shut down three lanes of westbound I-275 between Reed Hartman Highway and the I-75 interchange beginning at 9:30 p.m. Friday, according to WLWT. A single-lane closure in the same stretch starts earlier, at 7 p.m.

The U.S. 42 on-ramp to westbound I-275 — a primary access point for Sharonville residents using Lebanon Road — will close at 10 p.m. Friday and stay shut until 5 a.m. July 27.

All lanes are scheduled to reopen by 6 a.m. Monday.

The weekend work is part of a larger I-275 resurfacing project spanning the stretch between U.S. 42/Lebanon Road and I-75, according to ODOT. The full repaving effort is targeted for completion in October 2026. ODOT's traffic advisory page notes that "during paving operations, traffic on I-275 will be maintained."

The I-75/I-275 interchange is a critical junction for Princeton corridor commuters. Residents who typically access westbound I-275 from U.S. 42 will need to find an alternate route for the entire weekend.
