The Ohio Department of Transportation is asking Sharonville and Springdale corridor residents to weigh in on a redesigned Galbraith Road interchange on I-75.

The request is part of the $126.2 million I-75 Unification Project, formally named "I-75 Thru the Valley: Unification Phase." The project is shifting all northbound lanes to run adjacent to the southbound lanes from the State Route 126 interchange to just south of the Shepherd Lane interchange. SR 126 is also known as the Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway.

The lane shift adds one new travel lane in each direction. It also includes safety and access improvements at SR 126 and on surrounding local roads, according to the project's public input page.

ODOT District 8 announced the comment opportunity Monday, Sept. 21, directing residents to an online portal at publicinput.com/75unification. The agency is evaluating two new alternatives for the Galbraith Road interchange and wants feedback on those specific designs.

This is not the first time ODOT has asked the public to weigh in. In 2025, the agency presented several improvement options for both the Galbraith Road and Wayne Avenue interchanges. That earlier comment period is closed. ODOT selected a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of Millsdale Street and Wayne Avenue as the preferred design for the Wayne Avenue interchange.

Residents can view the two new Galbraith Road designs and submit comments through the portal.

Construction on the broader project began in summer 2021 and is scheduled to wrap up in fall 2031, according to ODOT's project page. The work includes adding through lanes, bridge preservation, bridge expansion and major roadway rehabilitation across Hamilton County.

The estimated cost is $126.2 million.
